@mari, that usually happens when the phone gets disturbed while it is doing something. Yes, one way of getting all the items back is by resetting the phone several times though it could be very tedious. Another way is to make sure your contacts are backed up then erase all entries before putting back all the entries.
I tried reflashing before but the entries would not appear. It would just be for peace of mind to think that it is already fixed but do not wonder if it happens again. The best and the fastest way is to back up.
