can a phone's IMEI # be duplicated or changed? i got my replacement phone yesterday and i thought that this is a new one. i checked the IMEI # (pressing *#06#) and it was the same as the last one i returned to semicon and not the # of the new phone as stated in the job order form i got. i called up the main office and they told me that the last phone is with them and they were surprised as i was when i read to them the last 4 digits of the IMEI # on my phone. the cs lady at technical told me that it was the same imei sticker on the phone she was holding too. she advised me to go back to them for verification of the imei's. am i in the twilight zone?
