That xa3 screen protector has been out for a while.
It's like Sharp Crystal turned upside down.
I believe it requires screen connctors to be moved to top.
But at the risk of same issue one plus had (5T or 6).
What's the point of no cam buttom?
That function brought by xz3 is silly and much slower.
Take a look at the pics on winfuture.de
Bottom or the device has usb between the 2 speakers.
But speakers are surrounded by something .

So today's XA3 renders are quite different to the ones that came a few months back. Notice that the top bezel is to allow for the dual camera on the back, it probably didn't fit behind the screen or you'd get ambient flow again.

You can't connect that ugly top bezel with dual camera setup, that's not connected, it's a just one more Sony design failure, there is many many devices with minimal bezels and even more cameras. And don't say me that this one's are something special, because they are will be worst than any other competitor phone in same class like always...

no one is ever happy.
i don't mind the bezels as long as there is a good reason for it. sure other manufacturers can fit their multi-cam modules behind a screen without the extra bezels, but how many can film 4K for almost unlimited time? Even galaxy flagship are limited in their 4K video recording due to overheating. perhaps this is the reason for the bezels? extra heat control? or maybe the camera module is larger than other OEMs for whatever reason. We won't really know until there is a breakdown of the device and then we can compare that to other manufacturers.
i get it. other OEMs are going bezelless and we'd all like to see Sony thrive in this market. But as we also ALL know as sony fans, is sony always does what sony wants to do. they aren't ones to simply go with the market trend just because it's the market trend. they will double down on their way even if it kills them, because they believe their way is better. is it stubbornness or stupidity or arrogance? maybe all three.
As fans and consumers, all we can do is express our approval or disapproval based on where we spend our dollars. the sales of xz2/xz2p and xz3 should be enough to tell sony what they're doing needs to improve. I hope they listen. It will be strange to have to buy a non-sony branded phone...

It's essentially an iPhone X with a full bezel. I don't know why people are complaining, notch or full bezel? Everybody seems to hate screen cutouts but doesn't want to see any bezels. Also I think this design is kind of the easy way out, just flip the display upside down and voila. And their attempt at using horizontal lines in the wallpaper to counter the phone's height is cringey. I wish they didn't go this tall but Sony is Sony. The mi mix style bottom bezel would have been worse. At least it doesn't have a chin AND a notch. Ew. Full bezel over that any day.

Probably with a small chin, top woule be bit smaller.
Before xz2 was out, there was a concept (blue phone) exactly like this.
At least if you buy the phone, 100% or the screen is useful.
The hole is worst solution ever.
S10 is too ugly, everytime I see a pic of it I cant avoid looking at front cam.
In my opinion the first xa3 render was better.

Basically Sony is the last OEM that loves bazels lol... Maybe Sony Mobile engeeners are trash, i’d say that would be the case actually...
