I understand what your saying but the 3.5mm couldn't replace the fastport, which is used for file transers, charging, the update service, etc. They would need to incorporate both connectors.
If you have seen the fastport unit in the phone you would see that it is actually quite small and slots directly onto the main pcb.
The reason why it takes only a small amount of space inside is because it uses up the space on the outside. It looks like its been designed for their convienience at our expense.
The fastport will have to stay until they make a better one but thats no reason not to add a 3.5mm. If they can't add a 3.5mm the least they can do is move the fastport to the bottom again.

despite having the camera lens on the base part of the slider... it seems that it still have a vertical camera menu,,, unlike W910,,, no camera shutter button.
but the screen looks great... (at least for us SE users that are used to the small SE screens).

I post after and i said maybe that wrong cause the phone not working and there is no number for Pixels amount on the back side
