Very occasionally and not in huge loads in my city... Maybe once or twice a year. But the further south you go, the more snow you'll find. The North Island doesn't get very much snow as far as I know. Oh and New Zealand is well known for its ski-fields if you're into that!
Anyway, it snows in June, July and August which is our winter. Your best bet would be July I guess! But the weather is funny, there was a report on the news earlier this week of snow down south, and we're just about to hit Summer!

Haha yeah, I think I experienced a bit of snow when I was in London. Not sure though... But the weather was definitely bad!
