That's because he has no life and nothing better to do than come and try to get us rattled up to see how we respond.. at the end of the day this is a RUMOUR thread.. which means it's all speculations about what the specs could be for the upcoming flagship.. I don't think there's anyone on this forum who can guarantee what the final specs of the phone will be.. that will be seen when it is officially announced.. will it be a 2/3" sensor? Maybe.. will it be a 1/2.3" sensor.. maybe.. for now we just have to wait...

And we are continously discussing about info given to us by "insiders"... These could very well be wrong info, misleading info or correct info... nobody knows... so it's just plain stupid to stop caring about a phone, which hasn't even been revealed, basing your decision on theories and speculation...! you could say that if THESE are the real specs then you WILL NOT buy this phone, or you WIL buy it... but untill it will be revealed nobody can have a real decision on the matter... none of us has already preoredered the phone or put the money in a box for the honami... we are just waiting and having wild thought about OUR dreamphone..
hoping that sony will guve us the top...

A 1/2,33" sensor would definitely be worse than a 2/3" sensor, there's no doubt about that.
It seems even more likely because Sony already has some cameras with such a sensor (1/2,33" 20MP Exmor R) in their pricy compact cameras, like the HX300 and the HX50 (both are good, but with attention to a massive zoom (50x and 30x).
With a fixed lens it shouldn't be a big problem to achieve a comparable image quality (IQ), and yes the HX50 has a very good IQ (for a compact zoom camera).
And no, @Mr.Troll, there is no cognitive dissonance here, as I mentioned a 2/3" sensor delievers without a doubt better IQ.
That were my thoughts on the rumor from zomg.., looking forward to september.

I would wholeheartedly agree with the guys stating that Honami is not a camera centric phone, it's rather a smartphone with an awesome camera.
If you want a camera centric phone you can have;
- that gimmicky brick called S4 Zoom
- 1020 which looks like a half rotten squashed banana and is specs wise nowhere near Honami
- grossly outdated (specs wise) non smartphone 808

The whole point of smartphones is to have a highly functional OS. OS is a prime criteria by which we distinct smartphones and regular phones. But, you can't say that merely having an OS is enough for a phone to be considered a smartphone. 808 is a phone with an (dead in water) OS, highly centered around it's camera feature (which was the whole point of developing such a phone in the first place).
808 should be considered as a smartphone if it was released 3 years ago, but now, standards for smartphones are considerably higher.
