I still remember when one Sony executive was asked about lack of flash+high resolution camera in z ultra, he said that due to ultra being too slim + a screen that is thicker than usual lcd/led screens it was impossible for them !
So it clearly means that Sony is using an extra layer of quantum dots in it's new triluminos screens!

Let's get a bit more sensible though. We can't accuse every single guy of being a troll. People like Dacha, Jubei1, Motovikt etc are NOT trolls nor are they Sony haters.

So I'd request everyone to be not so aggressive and be friendly to all members. Such hostile treatment only degrades the community on the whole.

Genuine trolls should of course be given the treatment they deserve, but in the last couple of pages a few old and respectable members were also classified as trolls which is a very bad thing.

Sony made a big step forward with their new displays. Also viewing angles are perfect now...
The colors are real natural not like Samsung's fu****n amoled sh!t.
I would like if Sony could use x reality aka bravia engine everywhere and not only by watching videos and pics...

BTW I think all screen talks should stop now. An XDA developer received his Z1 yesterday (Retail model) and this is what he has to say. He owns Z Ultra as well

I have both devices XZU and XZ1 both have the same displays. And my Z1 is the first one available.

Anyway, for what it is worth, the screens I have seen really looked great, including viewing angles, altough I could not care less about viewing angles on a phone, I have a wrist that automatically corrects the phone angle in real time for me.

As for being ashamed thats ironic coming from a guy who chose a screenname that could be mistaken for unknown13x in order to boost his credibility here. You dont have any affiliation to Sony so enough with the appeal to authority argument

You have idea wether or not Sony is using Quantum dot technology, you have no idea wich panels Sony is using, you have no idea even if what DACHA said is false or truth. I dont however go out and attack the people i disagree with, your opinion is as valid as mine.

Good to hear. I really hope this screen lottery stops now. I was winner with xperia S (really amazing screen with awesome viewing angles) and a loser with xperia Z.
