After using Phone Finder (GSMArena) it seems XA is narrowest 5" phone ever made (66,8mm)
New one has 64,63mm so it is 2,17 less...
Difference between S6 and S6 edge is only 0,4mm.
What is width of 16:9 5" screen?
62 mm

Would a phone become narrower if frames are flat like Z2/Z5?

Come on ADIDA, upload those spy shots that you've kept hidden for the last month. How about a render next to the silhouette of a couple of Xperias like the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact? That would be the most useful thing.

If real and showing the design of the MWC devices then 18:9 is what we are looking at here with those thinner top and bottom bezels. Still people will complain that the bezels are still too large versus the competition etc etc etc.
The larger bezels could also mean LCD and not oled.

My last reader is not 100 percent accurate, but you believe me to be similar

Regular Mate 10 and U11+ are LCD.
No influence on bezels.

true with regards to much newer LCD displays with thinner bezels but the bulk of LCD displays have larger bezels. Depends how much Sony is willing to spend on development for these 2 MWC devices.
btw for those wanting leaks from Sony, a few years back Sony began clamping down on leaks and I support these clamp downs, it allows for some degree of surprise at the shows.

The se k800 uses OLED display and I had never seen burnt in screen before. If Sony do use OLED, I hope it stays the same and gives accurate colors and good sunlight legibility while not sacrificing battery power.
