True, the phone seems to operate faster than R5BB, the gifs seem to animate a little smoother too. With regards to the camera it seems a little noisier in low light conditions than with R5BB - but this may be subjective.

Below is a dump of the software info page:

SE REALLY need to get their act together. I 'upgraded' to W900i, but prefer navigating around my K750i as it is MUCH faster to operate. Surely SE can do something about this and use the goforce chip to accelerate the UI.

I've got a japanese handset, the SO505is. Although the fone is a few years old, it has possibly one of the best interfaces I have ever had the pleasure of using. The control mechanism is a combined jog dial with d-pad, an absolutely brilliant bit of engineering. The W900i SHOULD have had this with the UI that came on that fone. The speed of navigating, with the crazy animations was so brilliant.

I don't know where and how to find the firmware update for W900i. For the other models it is OK, but is it unavailable for W900i?

I downloaded the new r5bc004 last night,it took 30 min then showed me a ''failure'' message on the PC,somehow the W900 restarted normally and with the r5bc004,SE should check up quickly this problem, anyway thanks God it worked despite the failure message.
what I found till now:
-Faster wap
-SE browser can now show larger images
-Menu still at the same speed
-We still can't use SWF(NEVER listen to a SE advertising)

What about your camera version? Is it 2.8 or 2.9?

Is the "Delete All" option for text messages any faster in R5BC than R5BB? Deleting even 10 or so texts in R5BB takes a surprisingly long time, somewhere in the region of about 2/3 second per message. Previous firmwares were a lot quicker.
