EDIT: When I am in the download window, and use the "save as" option, if I do not allow opera to read user data, the program will freeze on the download screen, the only way to correct it is to hold down the back key, and exit the application, and restart. Not really a problem if I awnser "yes" to the read/write user data question. I guess the program dosen't know what to do since it was denied access to user data.

My WAP browser downloads the file from rangers.ru, but when the phone attempts to install, it is still giving the "invalid application" error.
Also let me just say that this latest hacked version is the best one yet! I love the new look of the file manager, and download screens!

Thanks for replyin. But i am not talkin about the download window that is shown before starting the download. Its the window that shows the progress bar. When i choose the hide window option, the progress window doesn't show up. But when i press 1 to check the download progress, i am not able to return back to the browser and i have to wait till the download finishes. The options options available when viewing the progress window are stop and abort softkeys . None of the shortcuts work at that point. If i press the back button on my phone, the download aborts:-(. Pls try this out on ur phone and let me know as i believe W800i and W550i work on the same java platform.

Yes now the download works on ur site. By the way can you tell me if its possible for me to sign opera mini to stop it from askin all those annoying read write permissions?
