Wahoo! With no effort at all this evening I managed to get this tasty deal:

- 400 anynet anytime minutes
- 1000 sms/mms
- data deal
all for £30 squids a month

- free K800i and
- credit to my account

Order number online and already at the fulfillment stage.

Hi, I phoned up today at about 5pm and finally placed an order for the K800i.

Looking online, the order line information for my order states "Deprovisioning Failed" and the status is "Out of Stock". Is it doing this for anyone else, or have I been unlucky and somehow failed to get allocated a phone?

i've been with O2 pay as you go since the early days of Genie, and i want this phone on contract now.
Will the fact that i've had my pay as you go line for so long help me get a better contract deal than those offered online/in-store? or will I be a 'new' customer?

Thanks.

Are you a new or upgrade customer as it depends. They have two different stocks. If new then I would say that it is indeed out of stock and what they have done is take a pre-order as they have been for the last two weeks.

If upgrade, I wouldn't take too much notice of the order line status until tomorrow as it's an inflexible system for upgrade orders. Some people's upgrades don't even appear on this system. If it doesn't show up with DHL using your gm number at some point tomorrow then it's unlikely they were able to fulfil your order unfortunately.

Yep, o2 retentions department.

I could track my order online by signing in to the online system e.g. View My Bill, then "View Order Status", select the latest order, and click "Order Line Status".

Deprovisioning Failed is listed against the SIM Card and Handset Tracking Code.
