There seems to be a problem sending text messages that are more than 1 page long on the o2 network.

I get "message sending failed" with a text message that is more than 1 page long, sometimes the recipent gets the message other times not.

Anyonelse experience the same on 02?

I'm on o2 and havent had this problem at all. I did however debrand the phone as soon as i had it out of the box, though i'm not sure that would be the problem.

Mines a sim free K800i. I tested the USIM inside my K750i and no problem sending 2 page textes but inside my K800i I seem to get the message "sending failed" on any text messages more than 1 page long. Sometimes the text would actually be received by the other person when it had said "message sending failed" on my phone.

This is strange, I have emailed Sony Ericsson on it. See what they say.

i think the K800 could use a boost to the call volume. it's a little difficult to hear the other party when you're in a noisy environment. it's not as bad as the K750 with it's initial firmware, but its not up to par with the updated K750 or with my W900.

i don't understand why SE can't make it louder since people who find it too loud can always turn it down. but it is very frustrating not to be able to hear the caller and not be able to turn the volume up any higher.

and maybe they can up the volume a bit when listening to music via headset. The last 4 volume bars sound as if they are at the same level. I cant notice a differnce in volume when turning up.....
and maybe the loud speaker too....

and anyone notice this, when opening photos you have taken in the camera album, when you click to open one, its fuzzy/blury at first but then clears up about a second or so later....

i think someone talked about that already.
it does that so you can quickly go through your photos, then when you land on the one you want to view, you leave it, so it'll clear up to the high-res version. it's to make the phone quicker and all that. most digital cameras do it it too.

Oh yes, the volume level certainly SUCKS for the k800..can never hear my phone ringing or the message alert when its in my pocket. The media player seems to be plagued by some AVLS-esque system where all the loud sounds are toned down a notce automatically. I really hope they fix this in the next update.

I think this is intentional, to make the loading of pictures faster (ala "preview mode") which is the same system they have in place on the PSP.

My camera doesn't start when I pull down the lens cover, nor does it shut down the camera the I close the lens cover. According to the manual the lens cover should control the start and shut down of the camera.
Am I experiencing a firmware bug or a hardware bug?
I have an unbranded version of the phone.

Please advice.
