nobody mentioned mtn. actually i have and probably will never use mtn. mtn being the largest mobile company in africa cannot offer unlimited call time to it's users.even tigo, onetouch and kasapa give more talktime and much better service to their users, it's a shame. african companies(mtn eg.)are very profit minded. tiGO,a luxenburgh based company operating on african soil introduced 1.5GHC for 24hrs,the first in gh and it's paying off and for

sometime now people are adapting to the habit of carrying two phones and in any case u find tiGO. it's either onetouch+tiGO or mtn+tiGO all because of tiGO extreme value.they've even added the sms version ie. unlimited sms for 15GHp. I was expecting something bigger and better from mtn,and to my disappointment mtn introduced mtn zone which was no match to tiGO's extreme value. mtn zone is like an unstable subsidized charge rate controlled

u but by the company. let's say if u get ur mtn zone metre at 95% and talk the whole day(which of course is impossible),will
u be saving more or less compared with someone talking for 24hrs for just 1.5GHC. mtn zone will reduce the charge burden on it's users a bit but it's totally useless compared to what kasapa,tiGO and onetouch to their customers. my only problem with tiGO and onetouch is,they don't give much attention to their data service

users. i don't think there is any guy from gh here at esato using mtn gprs if there is any, then make my day. with glo, zain and vodacom coming,am expecting a stiff competition. my choice will be the first company to offer unlimited data downloading service. with tiGO growing rapidly,i wonder what strategy these new companies will deploy to capture new markets.i can smell roses ahead. u know guys,i support the sale of gt 100+50% and i'll advice u

it's a problem with all the networks here in ghana. mobile internet and mms should have been a part of the Ghanaian's everyday life but it seems the network operators themselves are not serious about it. i even wonder how we're going to cope with 3g...

that's why i'm waiting for the 3 new networks entering the picture. i can envisage the competition that'll take place. God willing, by then, service quality will be nothing to fret about and Ghanaians will be satisfied.

i can't wait!!

guys to leave politics out of this. Ghanaians and africans in general offer services at high cost but low quality and until this trend changes, privatisation or foreign invasion will never cease.GT simply couldn't keep up with the pace of competition. and guys i don't u to think i don't like mtn,it's just bad,if GT isn't good,i would have chosen mtn which is owned by a sister african country but once again the african way high service cost, poor

quality. nobody complains about mtn at esato south africa forum but in nigeria it "milk those nigerians" because they're milking them dry.
in GH u never hear anyone complaining about service rendered by kasapa,tiGO or even onetouch. the only company always in the spotlight is mtn earning it the coveted title "most troublesome network"in GH and that's one great african company for u.

Why do ghanaians always bring politics into everything? Instead of reading and trying to understand what the gt vodaphone deal entails u stand aside and make unnecessary speculations..Like who is chopping what and who gets what.?
