se-unlock - so are you saying that you doubt this new software will come out for our particular firmware? How old would you say our firmware is?
Would you suggest updating it to newer - perhaps from you?
I take it you still recommend this new firmware that just came out this week over any other versions...

Thank you for considering us for the job of updating the FW but I would say that if you have R9C that is more than adequate and you shouldn't bother updating it until there is a major change.
As for your CDA, from what you are saying it would appear to be a unbranded version, however I have not come across it before as a generic CDA so, that may be why SEUS is struggling to find updates for it. Being obscure is just as bad as being branded in the case of SEUS as you wont be able to find as many updates for your unpopular CDA, as those with generic /1, /2 etc.

As you say, honesty is your most important assett - and people do notice these things...
I might still consider sending the phone for upgrade - I'll think about it from now until next pay day

I meant to ask - has anyone noticed if the new firmware fixes the stereo bluetooth streaming output from the w950?
I have the se bluetooth headset and although its clearly marked L and R on the earbuds - it reverses the channels. Thats the sony headset - I also tried a plantronics unit (with the same result) so the bug is on the w950 itself!
For example, Play David Bowie's Space Oddity and notice the vocal and instrument placements in each ear with the wired headset - then try the bluetooth headset - reversed isn't it!
The workaround? Simple wear your bluetooth headbuds the wrong way round! But surely someone at SE had to notice what the W950 was doing.... unreal...

so SE finally got back to me about the updating issue and they suggested i do a Master Reset, which i did, but it didn't fix the problem...my update program is still looping...if anyone has been able to update their W950i correctly, do you remember doing anything special on your phone and/or computer to make it work?
