fuli sik bro u dun undastand how happy i am finally i can use this peice of shit dat made me walk for 3 hours on aus day sat nite afta clubbing ...i had to walk home d fone didnt turn on so i couldnt call a taxi or enithin so i walkd pisd of my tits for 3 farkin hours i got so cut ARRRRRG lol OHH BTW WHEN I WAS DOIN THAT EROM SHIT ON WOTAN WILE IT WAS WORKIN ON MY FONE IT WAS DOWNLOADIN SOMTIN FROM INET ?? IS THAT FINE OR AM I DOING D RONG THING ?

As of now there is NO way of updating your EROM without purchasing an account. I may in the future right up s tutorial on how to do it with XS++ update files.

G82HVN you just need to update EROM. No need to select CID anything at all. Please read the manual that is on wotanserver site!

Thanks for this thread. I have read almost everything the web has to offer on this subject and I have still not got my phone back to life!
Today I'm trying Wotan (the whole day ... bought credit) and no luck ...
My problem is a dead K800i due to changing the sim. Powering on yields a blinking infrared light and thats it ... so the normal symptoms then ... except the phone does not get recognised by any of the programs using "C" or "2&5" or any other key combinations. There is no water damage etc ... its simply the change of sim problem ... but I just cant seem to get the phone recognised!
... used 2xXP and 1xVISTA machines and no luck. Fully charged battery etc. ... so ... I'm totally lost. PLEASE HELP ... I SAID PLEEEEAAASSSSSE ... lol ... Thanks guys.

Sorry, I think we can't still figure out why some phone can't be detected. This method is only available if your phone can be detected.
BTW, I think wotan has new interface now? Please ask them how to do EROM update! Or you can try other client like kulan kendi or Davinci.

Right, I have had a look at Davinci and they seem to be still doing it for free. But there is a problem, you need to have a account with them since you cannot run the client without logging in. I will have a look around Kulan Kendi but for me it has never worked,
