Also it may be of interest to you guys that it arrived as an unbranded, unlocked phone on a vodafone contract. My orange sim works fine.

with vodafones here, if you get a newly released phones, after a week or 2 of it being in stock, you get unbranded sometimes.
when i got 6288, free, it was unbranded, coz i got few days after it was out, then couple weeks, they were all voda branded. same thing with their n95's
so it might change
