I'd go out on a limb and say the N95 to be the better device. Even if the K850 takes better pictures, it's not that the N95 pictures would be that bad. It could be the same N73 vs K800 scenario, where N73 pictures had better details and sharpness whereas K800 had better color representation. And lets not even talk about Video Recording ...

i think Eldar said that k800 takes better pictures than n95, so the picture quality of k850 will a lot better

@Successor,

Your brother could have a bad phone as he is the ONLY person that I have heard or read about that has this problem. If he did the upgrade properly, then there could be a problem with his phone.

As for being a "Nokia Lover". Let me set you straight real fast and I will go slow, so listen up. I am a lover of what works for my money, and SE doesn't. As far as I am concerned, SE phones are not up to the standard. They should almost be free considering teh technology they use is 3 or more years old. When SE can put a functiioning (like the N95) GPS in their phones, then you can talk to me, other wise get a clue and read before you post and make unfounded statements.

I don't think I'd get either. No K850 because of the lack of Infrared and its sheer ugliness. No N95 because of its crappy interface (in my opinion).

I don't think any of the new SE phones appeal to me, apart from the fabulous W960 (I have a feeling it has bugs though).

@crossmatched,

You have a good point but considering that SE decided to stop supporting some phones and then only decided to do again out of user protest shows a lack of committment to me. They have done nothing really new and innovative since the original P800/k750i/k800i. SE has just been repackaging old technology and selling it as new.

However as you say, to each his own. I used to like SE until I saw that they are only interested in getting my money and not supporting me. SO I switched to Nokia. Could not be happier. Nokia supports my computer, releases upgrades frequently, and is releasing innovative (my opinion) devices.

Agreed, the whole P990 fiasco is laughable.

Updates? Are you referring to taking the phone to your nearest Nokia service center or upgrading from home through NSU?
NSU doesn't support many phone models but then again I guess this thread only covers N95.

BTW, Steve Litchfield at allaboutsymbian.com doesn't seem to be 100 percent happy with his N95. Lots of bugs and even the latest version 12 fixes some but adds a few more. Hmmm... sounds a lot like most people's experience with the P990, doesn't it? Tricky things, these smartphones, aren't they?

ha HA ha HA. qvga and sapporobaby complains (all time) about one single buggy SE phone (p990)............take a look at example k810i/w810i/k800i, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc...... non of this phones have some problems with bugs (unstable software).................the only phone (what i know) who have BIG bug-problems are p990i........Nokia have MANY (of their smartphones) who have bug problems (the N-series for example)
