I'm really not sure I see any difference in memory management...

Startup memory the same for me at 14.1-14.9M ( not sure why it varies slightly ).
With SMPro and Messaging running in the background...12.1M ( so presumably messaging is occupying less space now ).
Over the last 12 hours, after using the same apps as usual ( LCG, camera, Web, Mobipocket, Projekt ) and allowing them all to be closed by SMpro when idle,except Messaging...6.3M
For me the acid test of this FW is the ability to leave Messaging on in the background without incurring that leak....

--> reboot...

Running LCG and Aquacalendar ( while I fiddle with all the AC settings again ! )and Messaging....2.5M
LCG was closed down by the system after 10 minutes of this.
Uptime - 3 hours

Opinions ?

SE is not providing simple way to check if upgrade is available. Somebody had suggested in another Esato thread to use phone to check but I could not find the way. Please visit the following web page to find if update is available for your phone:

When sending MMS, I'm not able to access the setting to ask if I want to resize pictures. Has it gone for everyone, or is it just me?

it's because the creation mode of the mms settings (you've downloaded during setup) is set to 'free' and is most probably greyed out so that you can't change it...

delete your mms account and request it from your operator or SE support page.

this should work..
