I've been putting off getting a monthly contact on Tmobile (i'm PAUG right now) for weeks waiting for this phone, I finally thought by the end off this week my misery would end. But now your saying 22nd. WOW.

looks like its gonna be hello O2. So is it available in the O2 shops yet???

I ordered mine last night off the O2 site and they mailed me a couple of hours ago saying they're out of stock. No ETA either. Shame.

Sorry, I meant to say that T-mobile retial stores wont be selling them untill the 22nd of october, as confirmed by the retail staff that I asked. However, they said direct sales usually get handsets 7-10 days before they do in retail.

I dont think O2 retail will be getting them untill then as well.

I ordered a K850i as an upgrade last friday morning (got the same deal as £15 simplicity but with a free phone, on an 18 month contract - sweet as I don't go over that usage) and was told it was just made available that day and would be sent out to reach me monday or tuesday (today). Not bad...

However, got a text from o2 today apologising for not sending the K850i out yet, their first batch has run out, but they will fulfill orders when the next shipment comes in on the 15th.

So their first batch seems to have lasted about an hour and a half

I ordered mine on Thursday last week, told it would be despatched Monday (yesterday0 text message received today, they are out of stock, will try to send it next week!!

Does that mean that there is no one on esato to get the K850 first??? I thought that some esato members would have been the first buyers of K850...

From what I can gather O2 took pre-orders at the end of last week expecting to get their shipment yesterday (which is what every network was promised). The shipments were then delayed until Thursday/Friday this week so O2 have probably stopped taking pre-orders until they know exactly how many phones they're getting in (quite often the networks don't receive as many as they order of new phones) so as to not disappoint too many of their customers who've pre-ordered. I wouldn't expect anybody to have received anything until Friday earliest. If I'm wrong and some of you have already received your K850i s please tell us how great it is.
