@mode:

the reason why G900 doesn't have HSDPA was because it's still based on Symbian 9.1 if SE used v9.2 then HSDPA is surely packed there

i really wonder about the CPU speed of the G900/700 but give nthe fact that G900's CPU is even able to handle 5mp resolution camera then i believe it's using the 2420 processor or higher. don't ever think of the old Nexperia CPU in P1 being utilized by this baby, since that old and slow CPU is incapable of rendering more than 4mp resolution images.

and btw G900/700 has 128Mb RAM!

@tenten, in what they are they useless??? It seems you can handle the phone like say a k800, with just the dpad and normal keypad

at the same time you can, if you want, use the touch screen for more advanced features, like the notes, when you want and when you can use both hands...o i think it was very good that they put touch screen on it - AFAIK some prototypes of this g series devices did not have touch screen at all!

Maybe it's just me, but the touchscreen + traditional key layout kind of crosses each other out..leaving them both useless either way.

Weird crossover...

I think the X1 is like them big Nokia devices. In other words TOO BIG. I hate it.

I also really like the concept of touch + dpad. Navigating the uiq 3.0 with a combination of fingers and stylus has been one of the factors that kept me away from the w960. I know how frustrated my girlfriend's P1 has made me because of all the fiddling while navigating...

I had a chat with the product manager of the G900 / G700 today. He could tell me that the G900 has 8 GB internaly memory, but this could change before the lauch. This is not official from Sony Ericsson and that is why you can't fin the information anywhere.

Here is the comparison photo of the G900 and P1i:

Laffen, did he tell you about the WiFi or anything about the new UIQ?

The X1 has nothing to do with this topic. So please, stay on topic. If you have nothing to say about the phones except saying you hate it, then please don't post anything at all. But it's your choice.
