will walkman 3.0 be ported to m600i/ p990i Phones?

hi all, i can't write to the Z: drive of my P1 using SMP, but i can write to C:. will x-plore do the trick? how do i use it anyway?

EDIT: didn't need to write to Z drive to change the main menu icons anyway, just hex edit the rsc files. thanks!

after a bit of playing around with it, i noticed that it takes quite a while to switch between tracks wen the visualizations are on, other than that it runs at a decent pace. my P1 firmware is: phone: R9K009, organiser: R6G04

From your video i assume that the walkman 3.0 did not overwrite the default player on the p1, is that correct?

I gotta find a good guide and get this sorted lol.

have installed WM3 and it works great, and more stable compared to WM2, transition effect now can be activated and press camera button while playing music doesn't restart the phone as it happens when using WM2.

However, it seems the shortcut button on keyboard for volume doesn't work appropriately, it's only higher/lower the volume for one bar, so you have to slide the volume bar once you press the shortcut, but it's not critical though.

And when I open WM3 after restart the phone, it doesn't held the musics that has been updated to the player before; and all the mood setting, star rating are gone; so you have to re-import the music files and set the rest. Is this only happen to me??

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried this mod with a phone that is not GW1 or which has the firmware before the R9K009? The R9J005 if i am not mistaken.

i'm not having your problem with all the settings getting deleted when the phone is turned off - only thing i can recommend is copying the files again.

p.s. somebody has released a different keymapper so that the volume keys work like the walkman 2 port.
