can you guys check this for me??

I read another thred that P800 can be used via to use PC as internet 'gateway' - so when I get my P800 I can sync it with my PC via My PC has a broadband connection, if P800 can be used with that how fast can I browse, is this dependant on the p800 processor & wap/web browser software installed - any answer even remotely good means I hoar out my mother & sell my spare kidney for some cash - then tot of to noddy-land for my P800

? What do you mean "I read on another thread that....", dude, that's what THIS thread is mostly about.

About the speed, I couldn't tell exactly, but it is definitely a noticeable increase in speed when surfing through BT/DSL vs GPRS! I've also noticed that when my DSL connection is slow, it will affect my P800 browser when using this connection.

I just can't get my adsl connection to work through my sync station. The build in browser tries to connect through gprs and then just stops.I created a new internet account and then a new wap account which i use as connection for the build in browser. I am using a router for my broadband connection. could this be a reason for it not to work?

cheers

Anybody know of a way of changing the sequence of apps in the app list? I want the ones I use most at the top.

i've got a strange question

i have both Ericsson R520m and P800, one of my operators offer gprs for free, and this sim card is inserted in R520.

Is it possible to connect from from P800 to internet through R520's gprs via bluetooth ?

I tried to apply the settings via pc settings, but, they didn't work.

Any ideas, offers, solutions ?

Thanx,
Ozkan

Ehm, no, can't be done, at least not yet. What you wan't to do is to connect the P800 to the internet using a R520 as a modem, right?

I know the Nokia 9210 has a 3'rd party program called extended internet(or something like that) which allows it to connect to the internet through GPRS using a GPRS enabled phone as a modem. I guess such a program could be developed for the P800 too(don't really see the point though).

Back to topic, this BT-DSl connection can also be made to work with the P800 built-in browser and e-mail client, just needs a little tweaking. Just set up a new "dummy" internet account, anyway, this is explained before on this forum, in this thread and others, just search.
