Awesome, cheers guys! I'll try to backup the themes, although I already made a custom theme for myself which is backed up on my PC anyway. Here goes nothing...

You can always get the themes back from here if they went missing anyway.

Better to be safe than sorry I suppose! Good luck, but its not all that daunting of a task anyway. You'll find it pretty simple and easy!

Hey Guys, back again this time I REALLY NEED HELP.

i bought the phone imported by a guy who owns a small business in Vancouver BC Canada, and imports these phones from Hong Kong so i don't get a free 1 year warranty and i don't feel like sending it away and getting it back with the same issue..

no matter which firmware upgrade i do MY CAMERA FREEZES right at the graphic of a camera, so the blue light buttons don't even light up.

I have the latest software and after i flash it or do master re-set from the phone the camera will work for a few days and then when i need it it freezes for like a few min before it goes anywhere.

What can i do to fix this issue? is it a hardware defect? Pls Help!

R3CA038 is not available for Branded Vodafone UK. I just tried mine and got a message saying that the R3CA033 software i have is the latest software for my phone.

Hi Guys!

I wonder if anyone of U could give me some advice.

My first C902i (with FW R3BA035)was buggy. Pauses occurred while music was played. Calls were dropped. Calls were temporarily cut off. My phone froze every other day.

I had a replacement a few weeks ago(with FW R3BH002).Everything was stable & there was only one incident. One evening, I discovered that my Media contents were all gone when I turned on my phone after charging. I immediately turned off my phone & removed the battery. After replacing the battery & turning on my phone, the Media contents all came back. Should I update my phone for the newest FW? It seems rather stable other than the above-mentioned incident. TIA.

What you've just described is exactly what started happening to my C902. I emailed Sony Ericsson about the problems (see my thread on Esato about it) but they are still testing as these problem's are not just specific to the 902 and occur on all A200 platform phones. I had enough and have now replaced my 902 with an A100 platform phone which is much more stable.

Hi

My trouble is though, her phone is also a vodaphone. But she has a green battery indicator whereas mine is grey. I'm presuming her phone is a earlier version. Am i correct?

Most likely. Vodafone firmware always has the black and white battery icon. Do your menu icons differ to hers?

Hi,

I have read this whole thread and I am still a bit stuck. I am in the UK on the 3 network with a branded C902 phone.

I am having all the usual problems (intermittent alarm, clunky menus, random reboots etc) so thought to update the firmware. Not done this before for a phone so any help greatly appreciated!

The first post of this thread states that SEUS will upload R3CA038 to 3 UK phones.

My phone software is:
From settings menu: 1206-3990 R3BA035 080521 SonyEricsson
From service menu (>*
According to the first post in this thread, this looks to be the original release software. However the remote update service (from the phone) and the SEUS (on the PC) both tell me I have the latest software update available.

Am I doing something wrong? or has there not been a software update for 3 UK phones yet (contrary to the first post in this thread?).

Do I need to perform a master reset before doing SEUS?

Thanks in anticipation!

If SEUS says you have the latest software then there must not be any new firmware for a 3 phone at the moment.
