I don't mean to make this a c902 flash vs. c905 flash, but I took some comparison pics in a dark room (sorry about the mess!), all of them from various distances, Auto with flash:

again...........who have ever said xenon is similar with photo flash (led) ?????

i said two things.

1.
photo flash is better then ordinary LED
2.
C905 need some serious uppdate. (look at this first flash pics by c905, they are crystal clear with great sharpness)

ps.
besides, on shorter distance LED/Photo flash gives better quality. Xenon often gets to bleached, (it should be great if c905 could use its LED on close targets (dont understand why SE didnt install that, it had been perfect to use that 3-point LED on macro, etc )

on close distance im happy with c902 flash......over & out.

Excellent comparison. The way the C905 flash fills the room is very close to what I get with my Fuji F40fd digicam. As far as I'm concerned, LED is only good for autofocus assistance and not much else unless you're prepared to only shoot stuff close enough to touch.

he he....then you have some real monkey arms......

that c902.flash picture above is shoot from a bit over 1m and still have good colors & sharpness.

snapshoot c902 flash, distance ~1.5m, full darkness. (it works great up to 1.5m, then it starts to get unsharp).

(besides, isnt this thread about c902 & k800....lets stay there then)

The C902 flash pics is for close distance or Macro, because it's LED Flash

If the C902 had Xenon Flash it would be perfect

The C905 have the best Flash in the market at the moment

awsome comparison, shows how WEAK led flash really is against xenon. Oh, now i cant switch to led flash phones as K800 has decent xenon.

if you planning to just use flash, well, go for k800...
but if you have any thoughts to use your camera outdoor, indoor, low light, etc,.....i strongely suggest you go for c902...its quite much better.

i can insure you that neither my k800 or k810 produced snaps like this:

plank, I really appreciate how much you back the phone you own, however the c902 can't compare to the c905 in anyway, maybe if you shoot an image of the c905 at 5mpx, but nothing else. If you were to compare the c905 8mpx image to the c902's 5mpx image the quality would be significant, general detail would be just be sharper, thats just a fact. I think the c902 is a fantastic phone and would have one over any other 8mpx cam phone apart from the c905. Another significant difference is the features inside the phone, for example the c905 has wifi, gps, smart contrast etc
