no point right now...the damage is done...and at this point, symbian foundation is the future

its just sad to see the crap winmo x1 has SEīs flagship for months and months, and no new symbian devices at all, while Nokia presents the n97...

N97 is nothing special at all. So-Lo function isn't really innovation.
And the phone it self is nothing special.
X1 is WM, which is far from user friendly and stable, they can't even go above 65k screens.

Undo the damadge, if we can all make sure 5people buy a UIQ phone before the end of Q1 09 then we should be able to boost sales enough for SE to notice.

All the user reviews I've seen say just the opposite. WM became stable and reliable. And quite flexible. To be honest, I don't see WM as so bad as you describe guys. As for X1, it's not sad - it's a great piece of a smartphone.
To boost the sales which would influence any SE strategy, would be like 1 milion devices more sold to people. C'mon....

i think WM was stable, it was just the branding rubbish that sellers installed that buggered things up. if you by a HTC device with no O2, virgin, orange crap installed, they are pretty good.

hi,

About the sells boost: does anybody knows how much units of P1 (and other UIQ3 devices) was sold so far? Just curious to compare with other smartphones...

i own a wm device and those devices are really something. very stable and reliable. even after some time they are still better than other os. so for me i think x1 would be ok as a smart phone. as for the n97, i dont see much os difference except that it is touch screen. so lets just see how things unfold.

Hi ares,
I tried the X1 yesterday it is NOT going to do much for in my opinion, WM is and old OS due for replacement cant see the point of it.
