Just noticed a possible charging/battery drain problem on my C905. I charged my phone up last night, and turned the phone off before going to sleep. When I turned the phone on this morning, the battery had dropped to 68%. Batt doesn't seem to drain as quickly when the phone is on - anyone else had any problems like this?
I'm hoping this new firmware will fix the problem, will give it a try later if it's been released in Europe.

Yes, think it was fully charged, noticed this over last few days, tried with different chargers too.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!
I bought a C905 black manufacture of week 48. The 1 button was hardly working within a week and a half. Took it back, got it exchanged but about one month later, the speaker stopped working!! I'd done all the research and people on this forum were saying that as long as you buy after week 43, you're safe.
Aside from this, there were a number of stupid software bugs such as the cursor not showing in the right place when writing a text message and the wrong ringtone being played for the alarm but I put up with these problems as I liked the rest of the phone. I even put up with the slider rocking which developed on the second phone after about 2 weeks.
I am disgusted. This is the first Sony Ericsson phone I've ever bought. I bought SE on the basis of all my friends with their previous SE phones saying that it was durable and high quality. I don't think I'll ever trust SE again.
Do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE!!

im disgusted by you. i couldnt disagree more! okay the speaker broke but they returned it within the week fully repaired and NO fault since. Mines a w44 so "should" be the worst. No problems with slider really and no problems with the keypad.
I bet the problems with his phone was self-inflicted. dropping the phone, getting it wet and generally putting it through hell so it killed itself. Do not listen to this person if you are thinking of buying this phone it is well built and reliable!

golemsmate,
Mine was W43 and i had partial keypad stiffness (Number 7 on the keypad), ...then i had problems with WiFi and bluetooth and sudden decrease in battery performance which lead me twice to flash my phone via SEUS, anyways, i didnt experience the earpiece problem, but there was (and still is) loads of people complianing, still i handled and used my phone quite carefully and never dropped or smashed it at all.
I'm still willing to buy another C905 if i get sure which batches are safe and faulty free, hence i really think there's no other feature-phone having this amount of options packed in altogether in one device.

your friends told you this whilst under the influence of some powerful mind altering substances, right?
that is the only logical explanation

you are not living in reality. the c905 is well known amongst retailers to be an extremely troublesome handset, and is typical of the SE trend
