Hey guys guess what?
I'm afraid i'll start a new stream of nagging but. . . No xenon.
well. . . I dont mind.
I think that might have made it too thick - like 16 - 18mm. Small price to play considering what else thats on offer.

Just watching the press release videos and I am wondering about the WiFi. In the presentation, it mentions that you can sync your media over WiFi by putting the phone in the dock.
Now, if the phone itself has WiFi, why would you need a dock, except for convenience? It makes me think that perhaps the phone itself does not have WiFi but rather the dock does. So by using the dock, you can sync with WiFi as that is how the dock connects to the PC (rather than say USB for example).
I recall discussions a while back about a possible WiFi adaptor for phones, but don't recall one coming out, perhaps this is that product or where the research went into.
I wonder if thd dock would be sold separately or something similar.
EDIT. Hmm, ok, maybe the phone does have WiFi afterall as they mention streaming the Playstation stuff. Bit confused with the dock I guess.
Cheers,

Actually both the aino and the Yari have docks. I wonder if all Eu phones will...

Thought so. I like how that the EU phones now have stands and bulky things fro chargers instead of a stupid plug. You treat them less like garbage and they are fancy stuff. Overall SE is keeping them for a reasonable price with a little bonus as the charger.

Now I am interested. If they can do this for Aino they better damn well make things right for satio. Sure I won't buy it but I just want the best interest for SE!
satio already have a
VGA@30fps video recording
VGA 30fps is so 3 years ago. That's about the equivalent of 15 IT years ago. I expected Satio to be a leader, not follower. I knew it wouldn't live up to its hype, that's why the Idou thread seems pretty much dead, no fan dares to hope anymore

I hate to be so negative (no I really do!) but I'm just incredibly dissapointed. I was hoping Sony Ericsson would give us the Western version of KDDI AU S001 with the 3'3" inch AMOLED screen and brilliant design (a classic and cool beauty compared to the Aino), instead we get this confused halfbreed. Not quite a touchscreen phone, not quite a classic slider. Im not sure what it would feel like typing an SMS on the Aino, but it looks like it would be a bit top-heavy.
Not my cup of tea, design wise or feature wise. And I really wanted to get an SE this year, I'll continue to wait for my S001 though. (delusional as I am, haha)
