I've tried slideit and swype and I think
slideit is faster and more accurate than swype.
I'm using
xscope browser and I love it very much. As for the launcher, I'm using
gde launcher . Its so cool (especially the cube slide) and much better than adw and helix launcher

Hello guys,
I have been looking for "Swype" application for my X10 but i cant find it on the market nor on th net, so can anyone put it up for me to download it or tell where to get it from?
Cheers,

It was beta (until 15 July I think). I managed to grab it just before the beta closed but I am sure we'll see it on marketplace real soon. They have a website where you can sign up for beta or get news -www.swypeinc.com
@Arne Anka - Languages appear to be English, Spanish and Italian in the beta

Download slideit instead (it's similar). It's the demo version whatever that means (works like a charm despite being a demo). Also download a language pack for it if english is not your primary language.

Handcent SMS - SMS application similar to the iPhone in design that offers increased usability
Love Handcent, once I figured out how to use it lol.
I'll share the games I've downloaded that I really like; Labrynth, MahJong, Toss It.
Yelp is also a really cool feature that can find everything around you, like gas stations, restaurants etc. And its "Monocle" feature is really neat. Just point your phone in any direction and it'll tell you what's around you. Useful when needing to find a bar when walking around. Gives you the address, distance to, and phone numbers of various businesses plus reviews as well! Love this app.
Also I tried JuiceDefender and found it to be a bit difficult to use, can anyone suggest an app that allows me to more easily choose to switch between using GSM and 3G? Thanks!

Any good app for barring selected calls? To make a list of calls that can be automatically rejected on the x10 - this feature was a part of all previous
phones

In fact it was the other way around. The standard feature on SE phones provides a "white list", i.e. calls that WILL be accepted.
There is a patch that apparantly can convert this on some firmware to the "black list" feature that you are seeking.
look for an app called call blocker (or similar)

@ masseur: Thanks... ya it was the white list feature.. to "Accept selected calls only" and i had that option perenially set to accept calls only from my contacts...
Anyway, trying out a free app called "Call Blocker lite" from the market... hope it does the job.. it does have an option to reject calls that are not in my contact list..
