@ Bonovox - i never use that site, a site that refers to sections of its readers as Symbian fanboys / Apple fanboys / Android fanboys / or any other fan boys clearly has unprofessional people writing their articles.
Im sure the Desire HD will be fantastic. The specs seem great, its only downside for me is the hardware. It looks cheap imo, will probably have the usual terrible HTC camera in it and lack a real feel of quality that the iPhone 4 / N8 / X10 have. Thats my main beef with HTC is their cheap hardware.
@ AbuBasim - i wouldnt say Apple's competition are scrambling to copy Apple's innovations as such, they merely adopt the functionality themselves. Just like every manufacturer adopted Bluetooth from Ericsson. Its a natural progression of competitive technology be it mobile phones, flat screen TVs, computers etc..
The better question to ask would be which features and innovations we've grown accustom to in the present day lack on the iPhone OS ?
I dont see where i said specificially the features you mentioned were bad at all.

@etaab I just read reviews I never make a decision based on these sites ever. I just like reading reviews. What sites do you think are best for reviews & ones that are honest & not biased??

GSMarena, they're they only ones with any credibility imo.
They point out the good and bad in all phones. They have been accused of being anti-Nokia, but to be honest Nokia deserved the bad press in many ways. So really i agree with most of what they write.

I prefer their reviews too. They seem very professional and honest when reviewing all brands.

There is a big difference in adopting technologies which a group of manufacturers agree upon as a standard, i.e. Bluetooth, and innovations which one company add to their own products as a competetive advantage over the other companies which then copy the same. I have not seen anything about Apple adding features like kinetic scrolling and pinch to zoom and proposing as standards for the competition to use the same...

So words like 'shallow' to describe the UI are meant the convey the warm and fuzzy feelings you have about the iPhone?

And when you're proven wrong then you no longer want to continue a discussion. Aren't your insults coming soon?
(But calling UI features 'shallow' when these exist on an iPhone but not when Nokia copies the same features?)

AbuBasim, its nothing to do with me being proven wrong, since i havent, but me not wanting to get into yet another boring discussion about Apple vs Android vs Symbian vs whatever else. Especially with people such as yourself who only appear to think that the OS they prefer is worthwhile and the rest are a waste of time. You cannot have a discussion with ignorant people.
I like them all you see, whereas you dont and can only see the good in your chosen OS.
Like i said, the better question is which features and innovations we've grown accustom to in the present day lack on the iPhone OS ? the answer is much. Its funny how as soon as people illustrate how infuriated they can be by Apple's basic entry level smartphone OS and its major shortcommings you suddenly jump on them to counter what they say. You cannot do that, its their opinion.
I prefer a true smartphone OS even with its less pretty user interface, whereas you obviously like shallow operating systems that look smart but are really quite dumb. No ?
