My max is still at 4 days . . . a 5 minute call and only some SMS . . .
It is really hard to believe it. I have experienced such a short standby time only for a few times. Then I used gprs for 1-2 hours, had calls for 30-50 minutes, sent many sms, played some games etc. Also I get only 4-6 days standby time, when I am abroad (using roaming).
Do you live in well gsm-covered area? Do you have to use roaming a lot? Where do you hold your phone? My phone usually stands in a nice mobile cup

@aivar - Well I always 'hold' it in my left ear with my left hand - simultaneously ! I guess Boba is quite right with his past post . . . re: the battery that I just bought - black/bst-14 . . . the battery was stucked in the shop for 3 years, until I manage to buy it! That was my query then, if buying a 'stocked' for long battery has any effect with it's performance . . . after? Looks like it does

!

@jn actually, if the batt was stocked yeras long, but never used and boxed ( especially li ion and li pol ones - should work fine. its just very important, that the batt shouldnt be charged not even for a second.

@JN
I mean, where do you hold (keep) your phone when you are not using it? Is it in the table or deep in your pocket etc? Do you have mainly good GSM-signal?
@BobaFett
No, I don't rewrite the software. I have the latest one R8A when it came out.
