Apperently not. I suppose releases prior honeycomb are only intended for phones while honeycomb and forward will support both phones and tablets.

The majority of previews I've read think the screen is good, one of the better ones. Does it really have to be the best to be good enough? I think the differences are so small between the screens that it's more subjective than objective which is the best one.

you will never get your hands on a phone that is the best in every aspect. as with everything else in life, you will have to take the bad with the good
i think the phone looks beautifull, but i already own the x10 and it will be to expensive to buy this one too
but i would really like to have it

I dunno why this is confusing everyone. Watch this:

...and get an idea of how Honeycomb would the same underlying architecture, but have different UI elements for tablets and phones.

The display is brilliant
None of the prototypes have been fully calibrated yet. Some are better than others at this point in time. Or at least, that's what I was told earlier today.
Not too happy about the back cover. It's made of glossy plastic and feels a bit cheap. The phone itself, however, is really great
I've got a short video coming soon.

The 2.4 is maybe what the 2.1 is to the 2.0

Yeah, I know what you mean. Some metal parts (e.g. the back cover or the frame) would have made the phone a bit more luxury.

Its probably because of costing back plastic is cheaper
but over all it looks good
