Don't know if this has been pointed out but I find it interesting that the Lumia is a few grams heavier than the Galaxy Note 2.

Yes it is. And?? I held a live working Note 2 twice and for it's size it feels way too light and the plastics are cheap feeling. I prefer my weighty Lumia with it's polycarbonate body and premium feel. Seriously horrible cheap light feel the Note 2. Sorry

Lumia and Note2 both are polycarbonate, Samsung just added gloss and made the back cover flexible, something they began doing with the S2. I also dont get why the 920 is so heavy when it has fewer and smaller components than the Note2, its going to make it a bit of a pain to hold for long periods when web browsing, IM-ing, or eBook reading.

Strange thing that the Lumia weight more than tha Note 2 which have a nice balance between size and weight and Bono earlier you said the Note 2 was too heavy !

I said it was too big and too light. If I said heavy must have been a typo but I have never had a problem with a heavier phone. These stupidly over sized phones from Samsung are just too much. My Lumia 800 is quite heavy ish but ut feels like quality compared to the light weight Note 2.

Relax Bono. Its not an attack on the Lumia from me. I found it a surprise that the Lumia which is physically smaller overall is heavier than the much bigger Note 2. I bet plenty others are surprised by that fact as well. Its also thicker than the Note 2 as well.

The difference is a mere 2 grams. Not much but still factoring in size differences does make ones eyes open and like Tsepz said they are both made of polycarbonate so neither is made of more expensive materials than the other. One just weighs more.

I am sure that those who are after the Lumia won't be swayed to change their minds because of this and vice versa with the Note 2.

Interesting facts. That is all.

Dimensions;
Note 2 - 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm (5.95 x 3.17 x 0.37 in)
Lumia 920 - 130.3 x 70.8 x 10.7 mm, 99 cc (5.13 x 2.79 x 0.42 in)

Weight
Note 2 - 183 g (6.46 oz)
Lumia 920 - 185 g (6.53 oz)

Its the PureView OIS camera module ... mostly. Its also a much better built than any of the galaxy series by Samsung.. so you pay for that in terms of weight. The plastic is thicker... just hold a N9/900/800 in one hand and a GS3/Note in the other.. the sammies feel really cheap.

I am relaxed am not worked up about it Just pointing things out. And yes the build quality on the Lumia range is second to none not just coz of weight. The type of materials used in Lumia 800/900/920/820 is used in hard helmets etc. And of course not forgetting the cool tech inside
