Yeah... haters are really ruining this forum... when it started with the gallery, I stopped posting images there.. now it's moving to the monthly competition and making entering much less attractive.
My hopes aren't high that anything will ever change as laffen doesn't seem too engaged in the community any more (I understand he is busy and thats not meant as a stab) and nothing was ever done about the gallery 1 voters.
This would be SO EASY to fix both situation if anyone cares to do so, simply;
1) allow users to disable voting for their gallery images or have each vote stamped with a user name.
2) not require that you upload to the gallery for the monthly competition unless you win at which point YOU MUST upload for validation. If you fail to upload in 24hrs as the winner, that months 2nd place takes the victory.

Not so much comments.... at least they record who left it so mods can enforce some accountability for users being vile or what have you. I would upload photos again if only I could disable the 1 vote feature, I would welcome comments or criticism as a means to improve.

Wow I get backlash for a valid comment, the Xperia series make underwater photos possible I didn't say I hated other brands. I love it how things get taken out of context on here. So underwater shots are cool and unique, if it was any other brand. I would of voted it, but there ain't any other brand offers that so lay off on making out that I'm trolling. I simply don't troll and have been on here for a long time. All I say is good luck with comp everyone and again I don't have a biased view, I have a Nokia Lumnia 1020 too which is amazing!

I don't get it. We had such case when there was 2 winners in monthly competition. Why you want to wait another 12 hours? Wouldn't is be easier and less competetive for everyone? Check the topic from June 2009. We had 2 winners -
PERFECT and
mechexpert and everybody was happy.
