related to your quote in Bold. Although Sony may need to adjust settings in the code of the OS ... they're completely unrelated (Z2 vs Z5 Compact): CPU, GPU, Sensor, Iris/lens etc ... right down to the chipset. So "just like it was on Z2" need not be mentioned.

It's relevant because the situation was similar - Z2 was released with 20mpx performance inferior to the 8mpx,
which was later corrected.
