I noticed that booth but I don't know her personally, unlike Jane of Nashe and Angie of Twin pines. Next gunshow we should probably meet up, forgot to ask for your number before I went to this one.

I like the dirty harry movies too. I have a .44 Magnum Ruger Super Blackhawk and its one of my favorites. Don't get to shoot it as much as I like because the ammo is expensive. Its super accurate up to 100 yards. BTW, currently, the most powerful handgun cartridge is the .500 S&W Magnum used in the new Smith & Wesson X-Frame revolver. Its muzzle energy is twice that of the .44 Magnum

Yes we'll do that

. I availed of the express service which is 10 working days, I should get the gun by the end of the month. I'll just update you on my impressions once I get the gun. Do you post in glock talk?, they have a thriving community of filipino gun enthusiasts called band of glockers, and discussions are not exclusive to glocks but to firearms in general.

I was able to hold a Steyr M series pistol at the last Gunshow. Nice front sight, grip angle is good. Most 1911 users will probably have to adjust to this grip angle but S&W and Browning 0.22 Target Gun users might feel right at home. Nashe reps said they do not have any more .40 in their stocks though.

if only the government doesn't tax us so much (not to mention making it hard to acquire a right to self-defense...) i would get all the models that we have been talking about here.
yes i saw that Steyr M/S9 at nashe. but i had been wanting a .40 model. and a friend is selling his Glock-35 (that's another .40sw) and now i am getting all these options.... decisions, decisions. mag-ala holduper na lang kaya ako, no license no nothing and free to carry, hahahah!
G17 ...when do you think we'll have the Sony-Ericsson P900 in the local market? and hey... in the greenhills blackmarket there seem to be some flow of 2nd hand O2-XDAs!

Just came across this thread only now. Been meaning to get a pistol for the house ever since my daughter was born. It's been 3 years already and I still haven't gotten one. When the government's tightening up on licensing came out, I guess I put it off even more.
I still plan to. Looking for a good compact 9mm at the end of the day. I've had my eye on the Beretta, the CZ, the HK, but leaning more towards the Walther. What do you guys recommend?
