Got the new version R8A015 today (it's free at the German SE service points). The things I noted:
1) no data was lost. If I remeber right, when upgrading last time (from R2 to R7) all my contacts, own pictures etc. were gone (but not 100% sure).
2) my impression is that the menues react slightly _slower_. When I'm in the main menu and press NO, it takes 2-3 seconds (!) to return to the standy screen.
3) I heard that you can edit the contacts on the SIM now, but I can't find how.
4) New games: Ballpop, Path, Pulldown and Tennis.
5) Typing: When entering Text, it does better guesses on small and capital letters, i.e. new word (in a name) beginns with caps automatically.

@ udosw:
I would be really great if you could edit SIM with R8A.
How do you do it? Does anyone know?

Hi all.
i talked to the guy at the service point in woodlands, sg and they told me that if i upgraded my T68ie (Asian version of T68i), there will not be any new games, as there is a complication with Wuziqi (basically Five Stones), the chinese board game exclusive to T68ie. It's something to do with the game taking up memory needed to put in four new games.
this might already have been said, but just a note.

I hope the hungarian version will have the 4 new games. the german version has, so it's not impossible
the '10-second-NO-button' thing is annoying and unnecessary, it had any use only in for T65, where the battery was unable to remove.
btw, i have a blue t68i, and my friend has a grey one, but the grey is way more stabile, thicker or something. when i push my NO button, the LCD screen changes it's colors in the downright-edge a little, but the grey one's not. is it a common thing?

It can be quite common for that to happen. It is simply pressure being applied to the screen which is causing it to compress into itself. If it is a problem then this would probably be grounds for a fix at a service centre.
