A seperate log of all successfull bluejackings

A vibrate alert informing of a bluejack, with a BERZERK option to go totally mad and bluejack the hell out of somebody.

@chubnut
No BT between the phones work. P800 finds the NEC and the NEC does not find the P800. Though if I make a connection, I can't send anything to the NEC or from the NEC.

Something strange happened today..
Was walking in the city, with SMan and bluejacking turned on as usual. In the meantime I sent a pic/email over GPRS, and put the phone back in its case. Later when I checked I noticed that there were no more log activities after my GPRS sending, and when I tried to stop the scanner it didn't. SMan didn't quit either, and it didn't bluejack or scan too. Rebooted my phone, tried starting the scanner again but again no activity and couldn't close SMan. Had to use qfileman to kill it.

Have to try to delete the logfile and in the worst case, reinstalling SMan. By the way the same thing has happened to me if I turn bluetooth to "auto" setting....I can't turn off the scanner.

@Ajack

Hiya, is there anything that could be done (as you know the Bluetooth stack) to initiate communications with PC's and or Bluetooth base stations. I know some BT access points have serial port profiles but how the hell do you get a P800 talking to one of these.......
...I love my P800 but miss the Wifi access of my old Tosh e740

Sman is great keep up the good work

@Laza

ajack PM'd me once to draw my attention to the 'unstable' nature of the stack (?) in the P800 (detailed in the HELP file, I believe) - the way to get around this, without a reboot, is to turn OFF, then back to AUTO.

@zahg:

I wanted to make SMan switch the graphics from my "Win 3.1" style to the "Win XP" style when it detected you IMEI... then proceed to blow up your P800 and produce a mushroom cloud 10 meters is diameter.

Nah... just kidding... won't do that to a fellow SE user... maybe a BLOKIA user...

@oferlaor:

This was talked by both Droll and I on how to best do that and decided that users be given a choice of how they would like to end a task. We could do as you suggested but this created more clutter coding and the fact that only ONE app so far seems to require a forced endtask. You are more than welcome to modify our source codes and send us the recommended changes. That's the beauty of our source code licensing... use the codes, do whatever you want... we are here to make something useful, make other commercial software obsolete and to teach others how to code for the UIQ platform.

@lordmike:

Does the NEC support the OBEX protocol?

@__SPC__:

Thanks for answering some of the other users queries. Appreciate it.

@elbarto:

Other then sending a something via the OBEX protocol (assuming the other device supports OBEX), other BT functions will only work after a successful pairing of the devices. This requires a passkey to be entered from both devices.

@laza:

__SPC__ seems to have answered your question and sounds right to me.

@thebruce:

One problem with SMan v1.1a (fixed in v1.2) is the log files can grow big and there is no option in SMan to delete the log file. That could be your problem.

@all:

If you have problems with SMan, please post it here for feedback from others, and if nobody replies to you, just e-mail me or droll. We are a tad busy with SMan v1.2 and do not have too much time reading this thread.

Ohhh.... NOk*a sux...

The way I see it is after detecting a possible blujack victim, it tries to send the business card through a protocol called OBEX, which only some phones support. If the phone doesn't have OBEX, then it cannot blujack the phone as this is the only protocol which does not require a password!

OBEX: OBject EXchange protocol; basically a short range radio transmission; a means of transferring data. the beauty of it is that most nokias are by default set to always accept obex transmissions.
stupid blokia fools!
heh heh heh
