Much thanks to mores for posting the comparison pic. It seems to be the same length just MUCH wider. Right now I'm pretty decided on the P900, except the price is just way too high right now (~$900 +,-) I can't justify paying that much for a phone. Those in the UK/europe are really lucky to get these new phones cheap with plans. US GSM carriers are terrible when it comes to getting new phones, or giving good prices on them once they get them in!
Thanks for the excellent comparison Jjay, helped me alot in making my decision.

@JJayMobile
Thought you were going with XDA2 then

Got me thinking again!
How you going to get the P900 unlocked from orange? You may have problem as with XDA2 (funny how I got mine unlocked but didn't really need to).

SHOCK & HORROR!!!!
Had P900 for 5 days & penny just dropped.
Why am I paying another £300 plus another 12 month contract (total cost (~£530 over year) for a better screen, slightly improved UI and different design (especially as P800's are getting lower resale prices on ebay).
Just decided for a P800 owner like myself the improvements are just not worth the extra cash & having used the camera & video a few times I think they are crap. Camera quality is still poor & video size/quality is a toy.
Keeping P800 & getting the XDA2 back which for the money is fabulous.
Was always a difficult 50/50 decision.
Flame me all you like
PS. V-Rally demo plays great on P800 except its an LSD trip with psycodelic colours

There must be something in the water.
My P900 went back to orange today, those "Jokers" won't unlock the phone.
I too have realized that for £500 it is better to buy the XDA2.
I will be the first to admit that I have made a complete u-turn after having the P900 for a few days.
The only problem I have is where to get my hands on a XDA2 contract free...

V-rally looks PS1 perfect on P900 but 'WAY OUT MAN' on P800
@JJayMobile
Did you notice P900 seams to have less RAM availalble. Struggled with Opera sometimes even crashing showing less than 1mb with nothing else running while P800 always showed 3-4MB.
Also after taking my Brando screen protector of my P800 I was amazed at how bright & clear the P800 screen actually is!! Time to try a different screen protector.
XDA2 just seams exceptional value for money and the camera & video capabilities are excellent combined with 512MB or 1GB SD card - dream

.
If I hadn't has a P800 then I would recommend the P900 but deffinetly not value for money for existing P800 owners unless you must have T9.

As I said, I managed to get the first one unlocked for £15 by calling O2 customer services so don't know why you had trouble.
I was unhappy with O2 shop because they gave me a load of bull about GPRS charges being on a rolling program i.e. the more you use the less it costs. Apparently certain tariffs are only available if you buy online & as a business customer (they were going to charge me the stock £3/MB

and £16 for 30mins cross network anytime).
Now signed up as a business customer and for £19.28 inc. VAT getting 100 mins cross net anytime, 20 texts (never use them) and 1MB free GPRS then charged at ~£1.75/MB thereafter (more like it).
Only place I have seen that is selling XDA2 off contract is
www.expansys.com (£576

and not sure if locked to O2).

I am the same, got the P900 (unlocked) a couple of weeks ago but have just ordered the XDA 2 (here tomorrow). The 128mb limit is a real problem so will reluctantly be selling.
Overall the P900 is an excellent phone but the memory issue is a real killer imo
