dunno, it seems to be taking more than that before it says time out, or cannot connect to server.

Initialization timing is dependent connection speed.. I believe it only took me 45secs on that screen before i advanced to the next stage..

I'm guessing u need to check your java settings.. Also run a windows auto update to verify all apps are up-to-date... I found going thru the Win auto update and have it auto install out dated stuff is the most sure way for this to work smoothly..

I have tried hundred times to upgrade my P900, always get TIMEOUT when initializing phone. I tried everything and finally I found the solution. I have a router here at home and I have one special IP address from my internet provider, when I set up this IP address in WINXP, then I am "open" to internet, act like no router. After that I upgraded phone immediately.
Hope it will help

hehhe no pint LUCAS , all the vendor here is suck in giving their costumer after sales service
once i had this 9110 warranty set, after 1 month found the sceen is faulty, send it for repair, wait for 6 months!!!
and u guess what, they told me the phone is lost , and offering to repay me with half the price when i bought the device !!!! their reason , is 9110 is no more on production,
another one is i had theese t39, i never use it's bluetooth, un til after about 3 months later, ibought IPAQ 3870, and then i discovered that my T39 bluetooth is faulty, send it for rerpair, wait for 2 months , say it's beyond repair, , they offer exchage the phone , but guesss what , i can't change to a brand new one, i must accept the recondition phone from them !!!!
that day onward , i never buy any warranty phone

hehehehh
