let us not waste our votes. have a criteria and think carefully before choosing ur president.
Criteria #1: Have your candidate been in the position already?
-> Candidate #1: Gloria Arroyo
-> Yes. Been in the position already.
Criteria #2: When in the position, did your candidate do the job well?
-> Gloria Arroyo, did NOT do her job well. I'm sorry madam president but you did not take the chance to do well the job of the presidency while it was given to you. In the past three years that you were given a chance to the seat of power, what did you do? RORO? Pabahay? Jobs? Economic knowledge? yes, to some extent you did your job, but it was not WELL enough. Look at the general population, marami pa rin ang mahirap at lalong naghirap sa nakaraang tatlong taon.
Three years should not be a hindrance for you to do your job very well.
And because you only have three years, it is not an excuse for you not to prove that your really worthy of the position.
madam president, i'm sorry but you did not do your job well while you were given the chance.
Criteria #3: If your candidate was not given the position before, have they been in other government positions before, and did they do the job well?
-> Candidate #2: Ping Lacson
-> previously PNP Chief, Senator, etc. But he did NOT do the job well. Anong nagawa mo sa PNP? Anong batas ang ipinasa mo na makakapagpaahon sa mga Pinoy mula sa kahirapan? Meron ba?
-> Candidate #3: Raul Roco
-> previously Dep Ed Secretary, Senator, etc. But he also did NOT do the job well.
Anong ginawa mo sa Dep Ed? Umayos ba ang kalidad ng public school system? Definitely HINDE.
Nung Senator ka, ano ba ang batas na ipinasa mo na makakapagpatino sa buhay ng mga Pinoy? Meron ba?
-> A true leader, when given a chance in any position, does their job very well, and will do everything in their power to improve the lives of their subjects
Criteria #4: If your candidate was not in any government position before, what is their track record/platform for government?
-> Candidate #4: Fernando Poe Jr.
-> Track Record: Artista
-> Platform: Kapayapaan, Kabuhayan, etc. Too GENERIC, and may i say, "Luma na yan"
-> Candidate #5: Eddie Gil
-> Track Record: ??
-> Platform: ???!
-> Candidate #6: Eddie Villanueva
-> Track Record: Religious man, Educated, and with a high set of standards
-> Platform: Space is not enough to show his multipoint SPECIFIC platform* for governance, but may i say, "It is done with God in mind, and encourages the Filipinos to start the change within themselves"
I would say that BRO EDDIE is the best presidential candidate that i've ever seen.
Please let us NOT WASTE our votes and think carefully before we put the name of the candidate on the ballot this May 10.
* Try going to Luneta on May 6, 2004, after lunch, and see for yourself. =)
