damn , i said to him to get the k500 because it was so cheap , but if i can reach him on time he can always get a t610 or t630 ( if only someone could spare him some money, for a k700 ) ( and me to , for a p910

Racing boy's answer is your answer; it's the vodafone live firmware. But the f500i (or whichever one is unbranded) is also available--at Abelsco for example.

F500 = proximus = vodafone live menu's
K500 = SE = Normal se menu's.
So the f500 is firmware branded (is a bit cheaper) and the k500 isn't firmware branded (is a bit more expensive)
