Agree, ding sound is still there while transferring data thru IrDa.
The rest I agree.

I Also get that sound when I use my phone and it's not set to all sounds off. But if I switch off all sounds (hold # down), all sounds are gone but the camera shutter sound... (and don't tell me it's because there's a real shutter there ;-P )

How can I kill the shutter shound??

On some K700 it works when setting the ring volume to zero (that's what the meeting profile does). On other K700 this trick does not work (seem to depend on some regional setting).

R2l has been installed today on my k7.everything has improved,but auto phonelock problem still not rectified,not sure about bt connectivity issues yet.but much better than r2a. This message was posted from a K700i

You are very much right here 'bout that firmware upgrade at Semicon Yes, they only upgrade in their Head Office (Pasig ), sub-branches still does not have the software till now , 'bout that SESS in Makati, I guess I'll just have to wait for it in Semicon-Southmall very near my place, asi Have not much time travelling to have it fixed - for now ! Again, many thanks 'kabayan' . . .

@vegetaleb- You mean there is a more 'updated' firmware than that of the 'R2L...' one ! Do I have to wait more mate

@JN R2L is a great upgrade especially for batterie,but if you had a reset bug on something under R2A it will not replace the bugy option but only remove it! exemple:reset bug on camera frames under R2A => no reset bug under R2L BUT no frames at all!!!!! so the next FW "should" add the missing files
@ all R2L people: anyone noticed that several java games now freeze after a certain playing time?

Just wondering mga pare where is SESS in Makati located ? Thinking of getting my K700 upgraded. Can only do it on sundays so since Semicon does not do it while you wait, i think my only option is SESS.

Not had problems with games freezing yet.I've played formula bmw and rainbow six,but only for about 20 min duration each.Cannons tournament doesn't seem totally gprs compatible though! This message was posted from a Nokia
