Nice Black ! I was opting in getting that Canon S3IS too, but when I saw the tag at Php 30K, I fell from the chair where I was sitting, because I saw this Fuji FinePix having the same price though it's a - 9 MP The S2IS is 5 MP while the S3IS is already - 6 MP.

Taken with my Kodak DX4530 - 5 MegaPixel (my hands are a bit shaky, sorry) . . .

@JN, it's not just about MP, it's about features, flexibility and quality. The 12x optical zoom, Image Stabilizer, Macro/Super Macro and ISO 800 support are just awesome! It's the closest thing to an SLR without losing the point-and-shoot features.

@black - Yup, I agree ! I just did not like the 'black' color (professional shade), the S2IS has the more appealing one - silver ! Nice pic !

@jn - your second shot came out well. I'm not sure about the date stamp. Useful I know but it just detracts a little from the picture

Thanks dicky I have edited my post to say what camera used. Anyway it was a Panasonic DMC FZ30. 8MP 12x optical zoom

@Dicky - where did you take that one ?

I took this shot last Friday evening whilst sat out in my garden having a few beers. The Sky was just amazing, I was lucky to get several shots that evening
Panasonic FZ30. taken in 16.9 format at 5MP.
