Should not give anymore prob than a 6x3.
@fatreg, I also had a nasty habit of snapping chains. Have been using Sram chains for last 3 yrs and not had any testicles to toptube interface moments! Well, not yet!

@ayush, From memory, the 21 speed system had a 42 tooth on front (largest)and a 12 tooth on rear(smallest). The 18 speed will be the same up front, with perhaps only a 14 on the rear. IMO, go for the 21 speed as it'll give more top end speed, and poss more comfortable ratios between.
If you can find one, go for a 24 (8 sp cassette).

Actually currently I have a single speed racer
So I planning to get a multi sp, mtb with shockers and y swing arm frame. I have two bikes in mind. Tho these are not very good but still the best available
Can I get not very expensive mtbs from abroad? Can u gimme few online stores?

@Ayush. The cassette is the set of cogs for the rear hub. Some designs will screw on with the ratchet mechanism, and others, like Shimano slide onto a splined holder and fix with a lockring. The latter is most likely. Also I've got a 2005 buyers guide with uk prices. For full sus, prices range from 225 to 4600 gbp.

And its got really really skinny tires and goes bloody quick... i go on 3 rides a week and try to do at least 10-20 miles each ride... i'm lookin at doin a lands end to john o groats charity ride next year so i doin some serious training.... i used to have a mountain bike as well but got rid so i could add some extras to ma bike an by some proper clothing...
I really like it i hope u do too...
