3. when playing song through bluetooth, why does it skip for a bit?

1. I've not experienced this but may be related to below.

2. The sound should pause for a moment when a text comes through, but I've not found an option to play a particular sound at that point.

3. The sound could be pausing/skipping like that because of interference or lack of running memory on the phone. I noticed this problem a lot when using specific bluetooth devices and when the phone is full of texts, many contacts etc etc. I've not had the same problem with the included bluetooth device though. This could also be the cause to question 1.

4. Get a Cybershot phone. The camera in Aino is an afterthought really. lacks a lot of the functionality of mose other cam phones. The 8MP is just a number. The nHD video recording is a gimmick. But the phone is great in so many other ways.

thanks for the answers, Ricky. With questions 1-3, I guess I have to observe the phone a bit more. I've spent 48 hours on this, so i still have a lot of learning to do.

#4 - Oh! So the nHD is a gimmick? Too bad.

I also have another question. I tried updating the FW, doing FOTA. But I cant get it to work via WiFi. When I go to Settings>General>Update software>Search for update it says that the phone will now connect to the internet and data transmissions will apply. Is there any way I can skip this and proceed with WiFi updating?

So is there a way to mod it with magical tech wizardry and get us full touch function? If there is, and I know they'll find a way, i'm up for it. Sure I like qwerty, but I just want A2 in touch.

@se-love
In my opinion, there isn't an easy way to fully touch up your aino I don't think. every touch region in every menu would have to be mapped out for it to work. Dunno if the aino has enough memory to handle that. One way may be to wait for a full A-whatever OS and flash it to Aino making any small modifictions for slider functionality etc etc. but in doing that you'll undoubtedly lose some functions specific to the aino. and that would be a long way off as the new touch OS would have to be announced, released, cracked then ported. I'd say we're at least a year away from that.

@bronxdude
to free up memory you could go for removing old texts, storing contacts on the memory card, storing all media files on the memory card, removing any removable pre-installed media, running fewer apps at a time, only turn on wi-fi/bluetooth when you need it (I keep my BT on but in invisability mode). These things should free working memory and storage memory (which is used for paging files) and processing power. I also tried removing all the media on my card, formatting and putting it back again to place everything back in a better structure but that didn't really make much difference to speed.

It should. They're both by samsung (i've heard)
About the full-touch thing. Would you guys have bought it if it didn't have touch at all? I know I would.

Yeah, I would have. I did buy it after reading here and other places of no plans to make it full-touch in the future. The camera disappointed me though. It's a fantastic phone except the camera, but that's not stopping me changing it up for an X10 in a couple weeks.
