i know what HTC means and i will never buy an HTC... but i am not talking as sealover or esato member... How many customers are looking at the optics of the camera lenses.... I'am talking about better sales for SE..!
SE's phones have UNIQUE designs and x10 is the epitome of beauty! But when a customers see in specs ... ANDROID 1,6 and 65k vs 2.0 and 16M.... which do you think he will choose??

@sealover.i thought it was confirmed that the X10 will have android 2. Mizzle confirmed it from the product manager.Btw, how many consumers do you think actually care about the numerals it ships with? 2 and 1.6? lol.

unfortunately most customers won't know the difference and as a result they will ask the sales person. The sales person will likely be uneducated and simply say that 2.0 is better and persuade the customer to HTC. Granted there are exceptions out there, but I think for the most part this is true. At least in the US.

This is exactly why I don't want ATT to get this phone. A subsidized price would be
glorious, but not if we have to pay out the butt for data usage. I wonder if ATT would make us get the expensive data plan if we had unlocked X10s...guess it depends if they change their version of the X10 and call it something different (a la e71x).
