Was recommending a Xperia XA to a colleague and then I see that Moto G4 Plus has better specs and is cheaper -_- . WTH SONY?

They should focus FIRST on the things they are lagging behind the competition like camera, display, add new type of the fingerprint sensor (one under the display), more memory, better battery, and then add additional things like DAC to differentiate from the competition.

Cathing up camera and display, are you smoking weed?
Did you see the screen from Xperia Z5 Premium?
Camera from Sony is always natural, you and more are use to See one minded reviews where Samsung paid them to promote.
Screen of Samsung better, did you know that Samsung use AM oled panels, with problens like inacurate color reproduction and energy sucking panels and other flaws?
About Camera, many people like oversharping image and some other flaws.

Dude, you're welcome to your opinion but you can't ignore the facts. Screens by Sony are pretty good, Z5P has a stunning display but the other devices are lacking but like yourself, I still prefer the natural look LCD compared to Amoled. Camera is a totally different matter. While the sensors are great, the processing is lacking. As much as I defend Sony cameras, the minute you put it next to any Samsung you will see the difference. Sony camera UI is a million miles behind everyone, its not functional. Lack of 4K and overheating issues too.
It comes down to what we should expect from Sony. They make awesome TVs so Xperia screens should be awesome, they have Walkman so Xperia sound should be so much better that what it is. Sony make supreme cameras, certainly their Xperia phones should be much better. We don't expect everything to be so good that it beats their stand alone devices but phones like the X Performance shouldn't be that poor. Companies like HTC don't have that tech yet their Boomsound is so much better than any Xperia.

Give the best screen panel what you can find and i put Xperia Z5 Premium allong side.
2 times the resolution of the 2K and more natural color reproduction over the AM oled panel.
Those are facts mister weed smoker.
