by the way, do your insiders at Cingular know if the W600a is going to be released by Cingular or if its going to be exclusive to Sony stores?

Does T Mobile use any other band with besides 1900?

No, they are exclusively using the 1900 band.

@REO

I use a Z800i on T-Mobile, but roam on Cingular on a certain highway. I notice nothing different other than the carrier being displayed.

I asked my very reliable source @ Cingular but haven't gotten a reply. From what I know, he's testing the following phones:
LG 1500 / 2000
Nokia 6102 / 6682
Samsung X497
HP iPaq w/ GPS

Me too! Tried Cingular but was disgusted by their customer service. Might try Cingular again though if they implement UMTS in Hawaii.

How's the Z800i working on T-Mobile? No problem? How about t-zones settings?

I like what I am hearing about the iPaq and the 6682. I am happy that Cingular seems to attempting to put out plenty of smartphones, especially PDA phones. I am happy to finally see the PDA2k released by Cingular, even if it is really late.

The W600a and Z520a both have the 850 band, which is most likely a sign that Cingular will carry them.
