20th Century Fox announces PSP movie support

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment today announced details on the first five films it will release in PSP-compatible Universal Media Disc (UMD) format. I, Robot, Napoleon Dynamite, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Super Troopers, and Predator will go on sale wherever UMDs are sold July 5 and will carry a suggested retail price of $26.98.

In its announcement, Fox said it has chosen to support the UMD format because it gives consumers a new portable option for entertainment without sacrificing copyright protection. Future Fox titles will be released on UMD in the coming months.

@Jagdeep: just look at the model number. If its 1000k its Jap, and if its 1001k its US. It doesn't matter which it is, they're both made in Japan, only the region coding is different.
