re: Activating T68's status request (or nokia's delivery reports or siemen's confirmation) on Globe Telecom network, i noticed and tested the ff on my T68:
1. if "Status Request" is activated, a check mark will appear beside the envelope icon on messages inside the "Sent items" folder once that message had been successfully delivered.
2. tried simulating by sending an sms msg to a shut off fone (Siemens S40 with a globe sim), didnt receive that "SMS delivered xxxx" message. then i turned on that fone (after 5mins), and once i received the message on that receipient fone, i then received the "SMS delivered" message on the sender fone.
3. tried sending to a smart and talk n text receipient it also works
@arnoldc does this feature also work with Smart?

@ying, i always have 'status request' on and i never experienced what you just described, so i guess smart's network does not support it.

dan.. yun the setting just above status request is "request reply". mine is set to "off". not sure if that will help
